Excellence in Learning, Assessment & Holistic Development

At Maheshwari Girls Public School, education extends far beyond academic achievement. Our assessment and academic programmes combine structured evaluation, experiential learning, co-curricular engagement and skill development to nurture knowledge, values, confidence and character in every student.

Examination, Evaluation, Marking & Promotion

The school's Examination, Evaluation, Marking and Promotion System is aligned with the guidelines of the Central Examination Committee (CEC), governed by the Education Committee of Maheshwari Samaj. The academic session commences in April and is divided into two terms — student performance is assessed through a combination of Term Examinations and Internal Assessments, and for promotion to the next class, marks from both are consolidated.

Scholastic & Non-Scholastic Areas

In addition to Term Examinations and Internal Assessments, a pupil's behaviour and development in non-cognitive areas — participation in House Activities, curricular and co-curricular activities, and community service — are observed and evaluated. The school gives due weightage to attendance, homework/classwork, and project/practical work, evaluating students across the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains. A cumulative record of each student is maintained.

Three Domains

  • Cognitive — knowledge & understanding
  • Affective — attitudes & behaviour
  • Psychomotor — practical skills
