Education that builds character, competence and the nation

"An educated daughter enlightens a family, a society and a nation."

Dear Students, Parents and Well-wishers,

Education is the fountain head of human civilisation, especially in these changing times when knowledge, technology and values must walk hand in hand. At Maheshwari Girls Public School, we have always believed that an educated girl is the strongest foundation of a progressive family, society and nation.

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) 2023 have opened a new chapter in Indian schooling. In keeping with the guidelines of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), our school is moving steadily from rote memorisation to conceptual understanding, from textbook learning to experiential learning, and from marks alone to the holistic growth of every learner.

CBSE’s emphasis on competency-based assessment, the introduction of two Board Examination opportunities for Class X, skill education, and the Holistic Progress Card reflects a simple truth: every child is unique and deserves the chance to show her best. Our teachers are continuously trained to bring these reforms alive in every classroom.

At the same time, we remain deeply rooted in Indian culture and values. Learning in the mother tongue and Indian languages, respect for our heritage, and service to society are as important to us as science, technology and innovation.

On behalf of the Executive Committee of Maheshwari Samaj, Jaipur, I assure every parent that we will continue to invest in modern infrastructure, a safe and caring campus, and dedicated educators, so that our daughters grow into confident, capable and compassionate citizens of a developed India.

My blessings to all students, and my gratitude to our parents and staff for their unwavering trust and partnership.

Learning for life in a rapidly changing world

General Secretary (Education), Maheshwari Samaj, Jaipur
"Our aim is not only to prepare students for examinations, but to prepare them for life."

Dear Students, Parents and Well-wishers,

Reflecting on the glory galore, the laudable laurels decorating the already bejeweled crown of MGPS, I feel truly proud of what our students, teachers and parents have achieved together. Each success is a reminder that quality education is a shared responsibility.

Today, education is changing faster than ever before. CBSE, guided by NEP 2020, is encouraging schools to make learning joyful, inquiry-based and meaningful. Competency-based questions now form a substantial part of the Board Examinations, testing how well students apply concepts to real-life situations rather than how much they can memorise.

MGPS has embraced these reforms wholeheartedly. Art-integrated and sports-integrated learning, project work, experiential activities, and skill subjects such as Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology and other vocational courses help our girls discover their talents and build future-ready skills. Our classrooms promote critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity.

In line with CBSE’s focus on well-being, we give equal importance to physical fitness, mental health, healthy eating habits, and a safe, inclusive school environment. Counselling, life-skills sessions and value education help our students manage stress and grow with balance and confidence.

Our aim is not only to prepare students for examinations, but to prepare them for life — as lifelong learners, responsible digital citizens and caring human beings.

I congratulate the Principal, the teachers and the students for their sincere efforts, and wish the MGPS family continued success in every endeavour.

"When school and home work together, every child flourishes."

Dear Students, Parents and Well-wishers,

A beautiful journey of learning and love, of faith and fearlessness in education — this is how I describe the story of Maheshwari Girls Public School. Every day our campus comes alive with curious minds, creative ideas and the joyful spirit of our girls.

The education landscape of our country is being transformed by NEP 2020. CBSE’s reforms — competency-based learning, regular formative assessment, the Holistic Progress Card that records a child’s growth in academics, skills and values, and the APAAR ID that creates a lifelong academic record for every learner — place the student firmly at the centre of the learning process.

Our school is committed to implementing these guidelines with sincerity. We continue to upgrade our smart classrooms, laboratories, library and digital resources, and we invest in the regular professional development of our teachers, as recommended by CBSE, so that teaching remains modern, engaging and effective.

The safety, health and happiness of every child is our first priority. Guided by CBSE’s directions on student safety and well-being, we maintain a secure campus, promote balanced nutrition and physical activity, and encourage responsible and safe use of technology.

Parents are our most valued partners. I invite every parent to stay connected with the school, take interest in your daughter’s learning, and support her dreams. When school and home work together, every child flourishes.

With best wishes to all our students for a bright, purposeful and successful future.

Namaskar

As our beloved institution steps beyond its Silver Jubilee, my heart fills with immense pride and gratitude. Under the magnanimous patronage of the esteemed ECMS, Jaipur, our school has blossomed into a centre of excellence, firmly rooted in values and committed to nurturing knowledge, creativity, and compassion.

These twenty-five glorious years have been a journey of learning, achievements, and life lessons. Together, we have created a vibrant sanctuary of dreams where every girl is encouraged to think fearlessly, act kindly, and walk with dignity.

As we move forward, the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 inspires us to embrace holistic development, competency-based learning, experiential pedagogy, multidisciplinary education, and skill enhancement. We must nurture critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, digital and AI literacy, environmental awareness, and emotional well-being, preparing our students for an ever-evolving world.

Dear students, our Silver Jubilee is not a destination but a milestone in our continuing journey of excellence. True education extends beyond academic achievements; it builds character, strengthens values, and fosters empathy and responsible citizenship.

Our enduring mission of making girls powerful and serene shall continue to guide us in letter and spirit. May every student emerge as a confident, compassionate, and independent individual, rooted in Indian values and enriched by a global outlook.

Let us move forward together with renewed enthusiasm, transforming aspirations into achievements and empowering generations of young women to lead with wisdom, courage, grace, and compassion.

Together, let us nurture enlightened minds and responsible global citizens.
